| Hi. My name is Linda Bacon and I attended the University of Illinois and Northeastern Illinois University. I have taught grades K-6th in various settings for a total of 16 years. The first three years were in District 73 as an elementary Special Education teacher prior to starting my family. While raising my two sons, who are now 25 and 22 years old, I taught in special and general education classes in District 54 and District 13. This is my sixth year at Fairview School. My first year, I taught a special education resource class. I am now in my fifth year of teaching first grade. First grade continues to excite and surprise me because of the incredible growth and development of 6-7 year olds! |
