Ms. Fry attended the University of Illinois, Urbana and Rice University, Houston.  She holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Music Education from UIUC and was awarded the String Educators Award upon graduating.  She recently completed a Masters Degree program in Leadership in Education through Concordia University, Chicago and has her school administration certification in the state of Illinois.

Originally from Bourbonnais, IL, she has been teaching elementary and middle school Orchestra for 20 years in the Northwest suburbs.  This is her tenth year in District 57 as the Director of Orchestras, teaching students in grades 4 through 8.

Ms. Fry lives in Rolling Meadows with her very large, energetic three year old dog named Storm and a feisty, elderly cat named Girl.
