Welcome to Mrs. DeKok's 2nd Grade Class

	I am lucky to have been teaching at Fairview for six years now. Before Fairview, I taught at a school for students with special needs and also at a community college in Broward County, Florida. I started my teaching career in South Africa in schools ranging from modern, well equipped schools, to schools with no buildings-having students sit under a tree, writing in the dirt because the school had no resources. Still, I feel privileged to share my days with precious children.
